LJP at a glance
The activities of the LJP are directed towards the physics/biology interface. We develop new experimental approaches to probe the properties of complex biological systems at different scales, and we seek to build new physico-chemical systems whose behaviours could offer analogies with biological systems. The laboratory also includes a theoretical component in constant interaction with our experimental work.

In short, the whole material universe would be obtained by assembling building elements of a small number of types, elements of one type resembling one another as closely as, or more closely than, objects mass-produced from a single model.
